What is the most interesting job you've ever had? I worked for a hummus company once, serving samples all day. I got to take home a duffle bag full of hummus at the end of the day. Needless to say, my diet consisted mostly of hummus for about a month. Surprisingly, I am still not sick of it!
What are words of wisdom you live by? "Be thankful for what you have and you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough."- Oprah Winfrey. She is such an inspiring woman!
What is your pet peeve? Telemarketers are one of my biggest pet peeves. I am now getting text messages from telemarketers. I don't know how to make them stop!
Do you have any superstitions? I check my closet every night before I go to bed. Who knows what may be in there if I don't check it!
What is your favorite way to stay in shape? My favorite way to stay in shape is to use the Insanity DVDs. I got the chance to take a class from Shaun T with some of my teammates as well. His workouts are intense!
Do you have any collections? I have a collection of military patches that I received while visiting the troops overseas in Afghanistan, Qatar and Kyrgyzstan over Christmas and New Year's. I met some amazing troops who are making incredible sacrifices for their country and I'm honored by the gift of the patches.
Tell us something fans would be surprised to know about you. My teammates gave me the nickname "Grandma", mainly because of my driving skills. I may be the slowest driver on the team, but I probably have the lowest car insurance too!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was a kid, I always wished I could take singing lessons and become a singer. I used to sing and dance with my friends in my living room. We would dress up in costumes and make up these elaborate musical performances. As I got older, I came to realize how terrible my voice actually is! I don't think there is any hope for that dream. Regardless of my terrible voice, I still like to sing, even at practice. As much as my teammates tell me to stop, I think they secretly enjoy it!
What is your funniest /most embarrassing cheerleading moment? I could tell you about all of the times I was pranked as a rookie, but now that I'm a veteran I can't spill our secrets.
What is your idea of the perfect date? Any date that involves sushi is the perfect date for me. Actually, a date that involves food in general is always good in my book!
