What do you think is the best invention of the past 10 years? Society as a whole would probably say the best invention is the iPhone or iPad, but I think the best invention would have to be buffalo chicken pizza!
What are three words that best describe you? Caring, daring and loyal.
What three things would someone find in your purse besides your license? If you were to look in my purse right now, you would find about a million receipts, a single clean black sock (I am not too sure why) and about one dollar because I never have cash on me.
If you could star in one television series, which would it be and why? I would choose the Amazing Race! I love that show, and I love adventure! I would be able to achieve so many life goals by going on the show, between all the places they travel to all the challenges they are required to complete.
What would your dream house be like? It would definitely be on a lake. My grandfather had a camp on a lake in Maine, and I went there every summer since I was a month old. I don’t like oversized houses or cookie cutter houses, so my dream house would be a cute mid-sized cottage with a large deck and a lot of land. The perfect place to have friends and family visit regularly!
What is one tip you would share with a future NEPC? Take more pictures than you think is enough! I wish I had taken more the past few years. It’s a memory you will share with people for the rest of your life.
If you were to write a children’s book, what would the moral of the story be? The moral of the story would revolve around self confidence. I know growing up I had trouble with my self-esteem, and it’s an issue with many kids growing up. The moral of the story would be not to let what others think of you affect how you think of yourself. Be confident with who you are and always be nice to those around you.
If you could visit any city in any country, where would you go and why? I would visit Reykjavík, Iceland. I want to see the northern lights. I like the thought of placing myself in unique situations, so instead of going to Alaska to see them, I would go to Iceland.
If someone were to open the trunk of your car, what items would he/she most likely find? Half of my closet, jumper cables, a hard hat and steel toe boots, Patriots Cheerleader posters, shoes for every occasion and a yoga mat.
What is the most adventurous thing you have every done? The first time I flew, other than to Disney, was to Kenya. I traveled around the city of Nairobi. I got a tour of a rainforest, walked through a bat cave, visited local schools and orphanages, and went on a safari! It was definitely one of the best trips I have ever been on.
