2009 Junior Patriots Cheerleaders Clinics and Game Day Performance

Young girls from all over New England, ages 7-17, participated in the 2009 Junior Patriots Cheerleaders Clinics and Game Day Performance program held this summer. Two weekend clinics were conducted, coached by all 29 members of the Patriots Cheerleading Squad and the sqaud's director. Dances, cheers, stunting, tumbling, leaps, turns, conditioning and team building exercises were taught and perfected over two Sundays, and a full on-field dance routine was created for the first home Patriots game at Gillette Stadium. On game day afternoon, the Junior Cheerleaders arrived wearing their uniforms and carrying their poms, anxiously ready to begin one of the most exciting events of their life!

After a practice on the game field and lunch with the Patriots Cheerleaders, the Junior Cheerleaders lined up and got ready to take the field! They entered from the sidelines to the roar of the appreciative crowd and they danced, kicked, turned, tumbled and smiled their way through one of the best Junior Cheerleader performances ever! When their dance was finished, the youth cheerleaders lined up on the field as the two football teams were announced, and then stood proudly during the National Anthem. Running off the field with smiles on their faces, the junior cheerleaders had just experienced the thrill of a lifetime!

The girls looked awesome yesterday........Thank you for an unforgetable experience.....Jordyn had an awesome time - not only did she get to cheer with the NE Patriots Cheerleaders, but she was also able to find out valuable information for her future as a cheerleader.......your cheerleaders were great - we really enjoyed meeting them (esp. Dina - we just love her energy & enthusiasm) & you have been awesome with the whole experience.

Hi Tracy,

We are writing to you today about our experience of the Junior Patriots Cheerleading Camp and Performance at the Pre-game on Thursday evening.

Our 8 year old daughter Gina attended the camp this year for the first time. It was so exciting for her to attend. She was in Group 1 with Ryann. We stayed at both practices and watched Ryann's interaction with the kids. I can't begin to say enough about her. She was happy, upbeat, made them feel special and as if she really "did" enjoy being with them.

On game day, we were very nervous about leaving her, once she saw Ryann, a huge smile took over her face and she ran to hug Ryann. We knew at the point she would be fine. A few minutes before the performance, as the kids were waiting to take the field, I could see Gina smiling and Ryann making her way down the line to hug everyone of the kids.

I wanted you to know what a well run program you have.created. I was truly impressed with how organized everything was, the positive atmosphere all the cheerleaders created, and the outstanding result on game day.

Please also acknowledge Ryann as an outstanding role model. Our daughter now tells eveyone she knows Ryann, she wants to be like Ryann, and how much she loved cheering at the Patriots game.

Just a note to again let you know how wonderful everything was yesterday. The girls did an awesome job. Leanne was bouncing off the walls the whole night from the excitement.

I was able to get right down to field level to get pictures before they performed. We were so lucky with the weather.

Hi Tracy,

I just wanted to send a note of thanks to you and all of the girls! Madison braved it out with no friends and from the very second we drove in to Fore Kicks on the first day, all of the girls made her feel welcome and spoke with her and she was feeling right at home in no time! I also think my son is in Love, and he just can't chose with who, including you! I had so much fun last night! I am not sure if I was more excited or she was! I can't say enough about the girls, and how they are as beautiful inside as they are outside!
