Write On Scholarship program
The Foundation focuses many of its efforts and resources on the education of local students. In 2005, the Patriots and Fidelity Investments launched "Write On", a scholarship program that will annually award $100,000 in college scholarship funds to local students. To apply, students are required to write an essay about the most recent Patriots game and submit it online at www.TotallyPatriots.com. Since 2005, over 100 New England students have received funding for their collegiate studies. Click here for more information and official rules. (link to TotallyPatriots site)
** Deadlines for 2008 have passed. Check back this summer for updates regarding the 2009 program.
Community MVP
Each year, the Kraft family and the Patriots honor members of the New England community for their service to non-profit organizations around the region. Each Community MVP is recognized for their leadership, dedication and a commitment to bettering their communities during a luncheon at Gillette Stadium with a donation made in their name to the non-profit organization for which they volunteer.
