As a culinary professional, Patriots Cheerleader LisaMarie knows all the right ingredients for a healthy lifestyle. This quick, no-bake recipe is one you can easily recreate at home – no professional training required.
CHOCOLATE DATE PROTEIN TREATS RECIPE
Ingredients
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup raw pepitas
1/2 cup dry rolled oats
1 scoop of your favorite chocolate protein powder (LisaMarie recommends Vega Chocolate Nutritional Shake)
12-15 pitted Medjool dates
Water
Place pitted dates into a food processor and grind into a smooth paste.
Combine the rest of the items (besides the water) in a bowl. Then mix in the date paste using your hands. Add enough water (a few tablespoons) to moisten the mixture and aid in the incorporation of the paste. The mixture should be sticky and able to form balls.
Remove spoonfuls of the mixture, roll into balls and place in an air-tight container. Keep them in the refrigerator and enjoy some after your next workout! Read
