So you may not be able to cheer on your New England Patriots this weekend, but you can still celebrate the region – on your plate. NEW ENGLAND-INSPIRED BURGER RECIPE
85/15 ground beef
Maple bacon, cooked and chopped
Vermont cheddar cheese (shredded and in slices)
11/2 cups apple cider
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup whole grain mustard
1 Tbsp cider vinegar
To make the aioli, reduce the apple cider over heat until it becomes syrupy. Then mix it together with the other ingredients.
Prepare the burger patties by hand or using a mold. Put maple bacon and cheddar cheese in the middle of the ground beef.
Cook the burgers based on personal preference and serve on a grilled bun with aioli and a slice of cheddar cheese. Read
