The full line-up of 2015 style ambassadors for NFL Apparel was announced on Tuesday and it looks like we have another star to add to our list of Patriots fans.
Teen actress Madison Pettis, who is known for playing Peyton Kelly in family football movie “The Game Plan,” is the new face of the tweens/juniors collection, while Julian Edelman stars in the men's campaign. Madison has declared her allegiance to New England football and appears in the campaign sporting a navy blue Patriots T-shirt paired with a white vest, jeans and red heels.
Although we’re not quite sure how the Texas native became a Patriots fan, “The Game Plan” has a strong Boston connection. It was filmed in the area, including at Gillette Stadium, and the movie's main character is a quarterback for the fictional Boston Rebels football team played by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
Madison isn’t the only celebrity to represent the Patriots in recent days, though. Last Sunday, while performing at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Mass., country star and American Idol winner Scotty McCreery showed his support for the Red Sox, Patriots and his favorite quarterback.
Scotty is a life-long Boston sports fan who attended last season's AFC Championship game and also made the trip to Arizona for Super Bowl XLIX.
Check out Scotty and other musicians like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift showing their love for the Patriots in the gallery below.
