Nothing screams fall like football and mazes and this September, Patriots fans can see Tom Brady hit the football field at Gillette and the corn field at Sauchuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Plympton, Mass. The farm announced this year's design on Facebook on July 13 in a live video where fans guessed the design in 20 questions, with some fans able to guess after eight to 10 questions.
In the past, the farm has done images of Snoopy to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," as well as an image of the USS Enterprise to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek.

"We try and do something timely every year and we've been thinking for a few years about doing something Pats related and then this year with the Super Bowl win it was a good fit with Tom in particular," said manager of the maze, Jillian Iacadoro. "He stays positive, does his job and we think he's a great role model and a great athlete so it was a no brainer."
The response to the news of the design has been positive and more than anyone at Sauchuck's expected.
"We couldn't have expected something this big," Jill said. "People are loving it [and] obviously we're in Patriots Nation … we're psyched. We knew people would love it but we didn't know it'd get this big."
The farm planted the corn in June, and it will take about 100 days for it to grow. They cut the design of the eight to nine acre maze around July 4. As the corn continues to grow, the design will begin to show as the crops die off the path. By the end of the 100 days, the corn will get to its full height of about 10 feet, should the weather permit.

The maze will open on Saturday, Sept. 16 until Sunday Oct. 28.
