*The Patriots offense rushed for 250 yards. Last season, the Patriots had one 200-yard rushing game, gaining 267 yards on the ground in a 34-20 win vs. Buffalo in the regular season finale on Dec. 29, 2013. The Patriots have rushed for 250 or more yards in a regular season game 18 times.

*First-year RB Jonas Gray, who spent all of the 2013 season on the Baltimore practice squad, led the team with 98 yards rushing on 12 carries for an 8.2-yard average.

*QB Tom Brady made his 2014 preseason debut by starting the game and played the first two offensive drives. Brady finished 8-of-10 for 81 yards with a 15-yard touchdown pass to WR Kenbrell Thompkins and one interception.

*Second-round draft pick QB Jimmy Garoppolo entered the game after the first two offensive series and played the rest of the first half, finishing 6-of-12 for 72 yards with two touchdown passes - a 15-yard touchdown pass to FB James Develin and a 4-yard touchdown pass to WR Brandon LaFell.

*QB Ryan Mallett entered the game on the first drive in the second half and played the rest of the game. He finished 7-of-11 for 92 yards, including a 6-yard touchdown run and a 17-yard touchdown pass to WR Brian Tyms. Mallett engineered three straight scoring drives to open the third quarter.

*All three New England quarterbacks combined totals were – 21 of 33 for 245 yards with four touchdowns.

*The Patriots defense forced four turnovers with two fumbles and two interceptions. The Patriots converted the turnovers into 21 points.

*Darrelle Revis made his debut with the New England Patriots after sitting out the preseason opener.

*Rookie free agent CB Malcom Butler, from West Alabama, made his second straight preseason start. He finished in a tie with LB Steve Beauharnais with seven total tackles.

*Kyle Arrington started at safety along with Devin McCourty.

*First-year OL Jordan Devey made his second straight preseason start. In the preseason opener at Washington, Devey started in place of Logan Mankins at left guard. Against the Eagles, he started at right guard. Devey saw action at left tackle in the second half against the Eagles.

*Stephen Gostkowski made his first extra point with the NFL’s two-game experiment of kicking the extra point from the 15-yard line in the first quarter following Tom Brady’s 15-yard touchdown pass to WR Kenbrell Thompkins. Gostkowski converted all six of his extra point attempts against the Eagles.

*Dan Connolly started the game at center for the second straight game after starting all of the 2013 season at right guard. He took over as the starting center in 2011 after Dan Koppen was lost to a season-ending injury in the opener before starting 14 games in 2012 at right guard.

*P Ryan Allen had a second quarter punt blocked. The last time that the Patriots had a punt blocked in the regular season was vs. Arizona on Sept. 16, 2012.
