Statement from the NFL on Brandon Bolden

The following statement was issued from an NFL spokesman on Patriots running back Brandon Bolden.

STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:

Brandon Bolden of the New England Patriots has been suspended without pay for four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Bolden’s suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to return to the Patriots’ active roster on Monday, December 3 following the team’s December 2 game against the Miami Dolphins.
