Today's Blitz features a recap of Bruschi's lengthy career with the Patriots and the impact he has had on the franchise.

LB Tedy Bruschi has spent his entire 14-year career in New England and although his role has changed as he gets older, his value to the team remains prevalent. Part of that value stems from the leadership that he brings to the team. With the departure of key veterans over the years, Bruschi continues to lead and encourage younger players to take a similar role.

In a scout.com article Bruschi said, "I think I'll be the same leader I've always been and I hope that young guys see it as we've lost some experienced veteran leadership, and they take it upon themselves to say 'I need to be a leader now.'"
