FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots' 2009 preseason schedule was announced today with finalized dates and times for all games. The Patriots will open the 2009 preseason with a road game at Philadelphia on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 7:00 p.m. New England will play its first home preseason game against Cincinnati a week later, on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The Patriots will then travel to Washington to play the Redskins in a prime-time, nationally-televised matchup on Friday, Aug. 28 at 8:00 p.m. The Patriots will close out the 2009 preseason with a home date against the New York Giants on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m.

All of the Patriots' preseason games will be televised in the Boston television market on WBZ-TV. A network of regional affiliates will also broadcast the games on Aug. 13, Aug. 20 and Sept. 3 on the Patriots Preseason TV Network. Fans throughout New England should check their local listings for additional stations outside of the Boston market. The Patriots' Aug. 28 game at Washington will be broadcast to a national audience by CBS and can be seen in the Boston market on WBZ-TV.

Two games on the Patriots' regular-season schedule have already been announced. New England will open the 2009 regular season on Monday, Sept. 14 against the Buffalo Bills. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on ESPN. Additionally, the Patriots will travel to London to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 25. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on CBS.
