Earned firstteam All-State honors after totaling 109 tackles, nine sacks, 38 QB pressures and 28 tackles for losses as a senior ... Three-year letterman in track ... Uncle, Curtis Dickey, was an All-American tailback at Texas A&M (1976-79), where he ranks second on the career rushing list and was selected in the first round of the 1980 NFL draft by the Baltimore Colts ...   • Ty and his wife Kesha established a nonprofit foundation called "First and Goal" that contributes to a number of causes. In November 2007, "First & Goal" sponsored a shopping spree for 13 families at a supermarket in Mansfield, Mass. so that the families could purchase food for a Thanksgiving meal.
  • Ty and Kesha were members of the Boys & Girls Club growing up and have maintained strong ties to the organization.
