  • Taylor rushed for 100 yards in nine consecutive games in 2000, tied with Walter Payton for the third-longest streak in NFL history behind Barry Sanders (14) and Marcus Allen (11).

Buffalo (9/14): Made the start at running back in his Patriots debut in a 25-24 comeback victory over the Bills ... Scored his first touchdown as a Patriot, taking in a 1-yard run in the second quarter ... Tallied nine carries for 25 yards. at N.Y. Jets (9/20): Played in reserve at running back and led the team with eight carries for 46 yards (5.8 avg) against the Jets. Atlanta (9/27): Played in reserve at running back and registered his 49th career 100-yard rushing game in the Patriots' 26-10 victory over the Falcons ... Provided the Patriots with their first lead of the game, 10-3, on an 8-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, his second as a Patriot ...
