  • Appears as a reserve along the offensive line and as tackle-eligible tight end.
  • Made his first career start at right tackle in place of an injured Sebastian Vollmer at N.Y. Jets (11/22).

  • Honors and Awards (2010): Third-team All-American honors from both The NFL Draft Report and Rivals.com, honorable mention from Sports Illustrated; first-team All-Mountain West Conference accolades.
  • Moved to left offensive tackle during spring drills of his senior season and produced one of the finest seasons ever recorded by a TCU blocker.
  • Did not allow any quarterback sacks in 2009 and 2010, despite never playing the left tackle position prior to his senior year.
  • Cannon helped the squad set school season-records in 2010 for points scored (541) and touchdowns recorded (70) by their offensive unit.
  • Honors and Awards (2009): All-American honorable mention by The NFL Draft Report; first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors; “Top 10 Workout Warrior” by ESPN for the second year in a row.

  • Cannon attended Odessa (Texas) High School.
  • Received a three-star prospect rating from Rivals.com, as that recruiting service placed him 59th among the nation's offensive lineman.
  • All-District honorable mention as a junior, earning All-District first-team and Class 5A All-State honors during his senior season.
  • In addition to his success on the gridiron, he also lettered for the school's basketball, track and field, and power-lifting teams.
  • In track and field, Cannon threw the discus 175 feet, 4 inches to finish fourth overall at the Texas Class 5A State meet in 2006.
  • Also posted a personal-best toss of 60 feet, 8 inches in the shot put and 176 feet, 8 inches in the discus.
