  • Earned all-state honors as a senior lineman at Worcester Burncoat High School.
  • Gained 2003 Worcester Telegram & Gazette all-star honors.
  • Earned three-time Inter-High all-star honors and captured 2003 team MVP honors.
  • Served as team captain for head coach Chris Moriarty.
  • Played in the 2004 Massachusetts Shriners Football Classic.
  • Also excelled as a member of Burncoat's track and field team and won the state shot put title in 2003 and 2004.
  • Majored in psychology at Boston College.


EXTRA POINTS
  • It is rare that a professional athlete has an opportunity to pursue his career in his hometown. Brace grew up in Springfield, Mass. before moving to Worcester. He played college football at Boston College and joined the Patriots as a second round pick in 2009.
