- Led the Herd for the second consecutive season with 49 receptions for 668 yards (13.6 avg) and 12 touchdowns.
- His 12 scoring touchdowns tied Keith Baxter (1987) and Darius Watts (2002) for seventh place on the school season-record list, as he spread those scoring grabs out over the course of eight games.
Sophomore Year (2010):
- Took over split end duties, starting all 12 games.
- Led the Herd with 44 receptions for 689 yards (15.7 avg) and five touchdowns, adding 18 yards on two carries (9.0 avg).
- Generated 120 yards on four receptions that included an electrifying 96-yard touchdown vs. West Virginia. His 96-yarder ranks third on the school record list behind the record 99-yard grab by Everett “Boot” Elkins from Andy D’Antoni vs. Virginia Tech in 1939, and another 99-yarder by Troy Brown from Todd Donnan vs. Virginia Military Institute in 1991.
Freshman Year (2009):
- Dobson saw limited action until late in the season when his role expanded, finishing with 15 receptions for 362 yards (24.1 avg) and four touchdowns.
- Spent the season mostly backing up Wayne Bonner at flanker, seeing action in 12 games.
- His first career receptions were two grabs for 47 yards vs. Memphis and his first touchdown catch came on three receptions for 52 yards vs. Southern Mississippi.
