Anthony Leonard was signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent on July 27, 2011.

COLLEGE

Started all 13 games as a senior in 2010 for West Virginia and finished third on the team with 70 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for a loss.
Saw action at strong-side linebacker and at middle linebacker during his career.
After redshirting in 2006, played mostly on special teams in 2007.
Played in 11 games with six starts in 2008 before being limited to just nine games as a junior in 2008.
