CAREER NOTES

SEASONAL REVIEWS
Junior Year (2013):
  • Fleming earned All-Pac 12 Conference second-team honors from The NFL Draft Report, the league’s coaches and Sporting News, as he extended his consecutive starts string to 39 games, starting all 14 games as a junior.
  • Registered a career-high 102 key blocks/knockdowns.
  • Played a major role in Tyler Gaffney rushing for at least 100 yards in nine appearances, as the running corps finished 22nd in the nation with 2,904 yards (207.4 ypg), establishing a team season-record.
  • The ground attack fared better than the passing game (92nd in the nation), who managed just 2,771 yards, the lowest figure by a Cardinal squad since the 1990 campaign.
  • Part of an offensive line that allowed only 11 sacks, the fewest in the Pac-12 and 11th-fewest in the nation.

Sophomore Year (2012):
  • Started 14 games at right tackle and was named All-Pac-12 honorable mention.
  • Helped pave way for Stepfan Taylor’s 1,530 rushing yards, second-most in school history.
  • Protected two rookie quarterbacks, each start their college career with 3-0 record.
  • Posted 98 knockdowns while helping pave way for Stepfan Taylor’s 1,530 rushing yards, third-most in school history.
  • Helped widen the rush lanes allowed the Cardinal to generate 2,440 yards on the ground, the fourth-highest total by a Stanford team.

Freshman Year (2011):
  • In his first season with the varsity, Fleming was named All-Pac-12 Conference honorable mention, as he was one of three first-year starters on the offensive line.
  • Started 11 contests at right tackle as part of unit that tied for seventh nationally in fewest sacks allowed per game (0.85).
  • Helped Stanford compile 213.8 rushing yards per game, which ranked second in the conference and 18th in the NCAA.
  • Protected Andrew Luck while the quarterback threw school-record 37 touchdown.
  • Was named to the Yahoo! Sports Freshman All-American team after the season, compiling nine touchdown-resulting blocks and 72 knockdowns.

Redshirt Freshman Year (2010):
  • A member of the Stanford scout team during his first year with the team, Fleming did not see action and was red-shirted.

HIGH SCHOOL:
  • Fleming first attended Harker Heights (Tex.) High School as a freshman and sophomore, playing on the offensive line in 2007 before transferring to Cypress Creek (Tex.) High School as a junior and senior.
  • Helped the team average 40 points and 420 total offensive yards per game in 2009.
  • Rated the nation’s 38th-best offensive tackle by Rivals.com, as that recruiting service accorded him three-star status and placed him 78th on their Texas Top 100 list.
  • Regarded as the 53rd-best offensive tackle in the prep ranks by Scout.com and 56th by ESPN.
