• A first-team All-Southeastern Conference selection as a junior, he was rated the best defensive tackle in college football and an All-America Dream Team selected by The NFL Draft Report in 2000.
• Also earned second-team All-SEC honors (AP) in his final year at Florida.

• Was named to PrepStar’s All-America Dream Team and was ranked among the nation’s Top-10 defensive linemen at Union County High School in Lake Butler, Fla.
