Rob Gronkowski was drafted by the New England Patriots in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Set an NFL record for receiving yards by a tight end in a single season with 1,327.
- Set the NFL all-time record for receiving touchdowns by a tight end in a single season, finishing with 17 (plus 1 rushing TD).

2012 (11/11, 1/1)
- Earned Pro Bowl honors for the second consecutive season.
- Placed on Injured Reserve with an arm injury on Jan. 17, 2013.
- Returned from injury after missing five games to start in the regular-season finale vs. Miami (12/30) and caught two passes for 42 yards (21.0 avg) and his 11 touchdown of the season.
- Inactive due to injury at Jacksonville (12/23), vs. San Francisco (12/16), vs. Houston (12/10), at Miami (12/2) and at N.Y. Jets (11/22).
- Became the first tight end in NFL history with three straight 10-plus touchdown seasons after catching two TDs in the win vs. Indianapolis (11/18). Caught seven passes for 137 yards (19.6 avg )and two scores for the 12th game of his career with two or more touchdown receptions in a game and his third time doing so in 2012. Left in the fourth quarter with an arm injury.
- Caught three passes for 31 yards (10.3 avg) and a touchdown in win vs. Buffalo (11/11). Now has at least one touchdown in each of his six career regular season games against the Bills, totaling nine scores.
- Had his most productive game of the season with eight receptions for 146 yards (18.3 avg) and two touchdowns in the win at St. Louis (10/28).
- Caught six passes for 78 yards (13.0 avg) and two touchdowns in overtime win vs. N.Y. Jets, marking the first game this season and 10th game of his career with two or more touchdowns.
- Started and caught five passes for 104 yards (20.8 avg) and the go-ahead touchdown at the beginning of the fourth quarter in the win at Buffalo (9/30).
- Started and caught six passes for 75 yards (12.5 avg.) and a touchdown vs. Arizona (9/16).

2011 (16/16, 3/3)
- Started all 16 games, setting NFL tight end records for receiving yards (1,327), receiving touchdowns (17) and total touchdowns (18). Moved into third on the Patriots all-time touchdown reception list by a tight end with 27 and into second on the Patriots single season receiving touchdowns list with 17 (Randy Moss, 23 in 2007).
- Returned from injury to start in Super Bowl XLVI against the Giants, but played in a more limited role, catching two passes for 26 yards (2/5).
- Caught five passes for 87 yards (17.4 avg.) in a start in the AFC Championship game against the Ravens (1/22).
- Started at tight end and tied an NFL record with three postseason touchdown catches in the Divisional playoff game against the Broncos (1/14). Registered the Patriots 15th postseason 100-yard receiving game with 145 yards on 10 receptions.
- Set an NFL record for receiving yards by a tight end in a single season with 1,327, after catching eight passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns against the Bills (1/1).
- Named to the AFC Pro Bowl and Associated Press All-Pro teams.
- Tallied 78 yards on seven receptions against the Dolphins (12/24).
- Caught four passes for 53 yards, including a 38-yarder against the Broncos (12/18).

- Added his 12th and 13th TD receptions of the season against the Colts (12/4) with an 11-yard score in the second quarter and a 21-yard touchdown in the third quarter to tie the NFL record for most touchdown receptions by a tight end. Added a 2-yard touchdown on a lateral in the third quarter for 14 total touchdowns – the highest number of combined
touchdowns by a tight end in NFL history. Became the first Patriots TE to record a rushing touchdown on his first career rushing TD. Finished with

- Caught four passes for 59 yards and one touchdown against the Eagles (11/27).
- Reached 20 career touchdowns faster than any tight end in NFL history (26 games) with a two-TD performance against the Chiefs. Caught four passes for a team-high 96 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown reception (11/21).
- Led the team and matched a career high with eight receptions for a career high 113 yards (Avg. 14.1). Scored two touchdowns for the fifth time in his career. With 18 career touchdowns, he leads all NFL tight ends in touchdowns since he entered the league in 2010.
- Set a career high with eight receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown against the Giants, marking his third 100-yard game (11/6).
- Led the team and tied a career high with seven receptions for 94 yards (13.4 avg.) against the Steelers (10/30).

- Finished the season with 10 receiving touchdowns to established a record for the most touchdown catches by a TE in Patriots history and most touchdown receptions by a Patriots rookie.
- Named to the USA Today All-Joe Team.
- Caught one 12-yard pass against the Jets (12/6).
- Caught one 25-yard pass from Tom Brady in a start against the Colts (11/21). The reception was part of New England's third touchdown drive and tied his longest career reception.
- Became the first Patriots rookie to catch three touchdown passes in a game, raising his season TD total to six and setting a season record for touchdowns by a Patriots rookie tight end. He finished with 72 yards on five catches, scoring on a 19-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady in the first quarter, a 9-yard pass in the third quarter and a career-long 25-yarder in the fourth quarter against the Steelers (11/14).
- Caught four passes for 47 yards in a start against the Browns (11/7). After a six yard pass from Tom Brady late in the second quarter, Gronkowski fumbled the ball on the Cleveland three-yard line and it was recovered by the Browns.
- Made one catch for five yards against the Vikings (10/31).
- Caught two passes for 10 yards, including a one-yard TD pass from Tom Brady against San Diego (10/24).
- Had one reception for 24 yards in a start against the Ravens (10/17).
