• Moved past Johnny Unitas into second place all time by throwing a touchdown pass in his 48th straight regular season game in the win vs. Miami (12/30). Also quarterbacked the Patriots to their seventh 12-win season and set the NFL record for most first downs in a season with 444.

• Engineered his 36th career game-winning performance following a fourth-quarter deficit or tie in overtime win vs. N.Y. Jets (10/21). Brady completed 26-of-42 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns and led two key drives late in the game - the first was a 6-play, 54-yard drive in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter that led to the game-tying field goal and the second was a 12-play, 54-yard drive that set up the game-winning field goal.
• Tied Warren Moon for seventh place in NFL history with his 49th career 300-yard game on 36-of-58 passing for 395 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions at Seattle (10/14). Brady’s 58 pass attempts were a career high and 36 completions are tied for the second most in his career. His third quarter interception broke a string of 190 consecutive pass attempts without being picked, the second longest sterak of his career.
• Moved past Brett Favre (36) into third place all-time with his 37th consecutive game with a TD pass on 23-of-31 passing for 223 yards and one touchdown in win vs. Denver (10/7). Also rushed for his second TD of the season.
• Threw for over 300 yards for the third consecutive game and 48th of his career on 22-of-36 passing for 340 yards in the win at Buffalo (9/30). Also rushed once for four yards and his first rushing touchdown of the season. For his efforts, earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the for the 21st time in his career, tying Peyton Manning for the most Player of the Week Awards since the accolade was instituted in 1984. Also earned Fed-Ex Air NFL Player of the Week for his efforts.
• Achieved his 47th career 300-yard game on 28-of-41 passing for 335 yards and a touchdown at Baltimore (9/23). Moved past childhood idol Joe Montana into 12th place all-time on the NFL’s list with 40,866 career passing yards and in the process, had back-to-back 300-yard passing games for the ninth time in his career.
• Passed for 316 yards on 28-of-46 passing with one touchdown and an interception and in the process passed Johnny Unitas for 13th place on the all-time passing list in the loss vs. Arizona (9/16). Also had his 46th career 300-yard game, good for eighth all time.
• Threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns on 23-of-31 in the season-opening win at Tennessee (9/9). With the win, Brady moved into sole possession of fifth place for most career wins by a starting quarterback. Also reached 125 wins in the fewest starts (160) among quarterbacks in NFL history. Brady’s first touchdown pass of the game moved him ahead of John Elway for sole possession of fifth place on the NFL’s list for career touchdowns (302). Became the 14th player in NFL history with 40,000 passing yards.

• Started all 16 regular season games and finished with a single-season franchise record 5,235 passing yards, threw for 39 touchdown passes and amassed a 105.6 passer rating.
• Added a career-high three rushing touchdowns.
• Brady had a career-best 11 300-yard games in the 2011 season which is the second most 300-yard games in a single season. The NFL record for most 300-yard games in a season is 13 by Drew Brees in 2011.

• Set an NFL record for consecutive completions in Super Bowl XLVI vs. the N.Y. Giants (2/5) with 16. Became the all-time Super Bowl leader in passing yards (1,277), most passes (197) and most completions (127) with his performance in Super Bowl XLVI (2/5).
• Led his seventh career fourth-quarter playoff comeback, making a one-yard touchdown plunge on fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots a final 23-20 lead in the AFC Championship game vs. Baltimore (1/22). • Tom donated 1,500 laptops to One Laptop Per Child, a non-profit organization that provides rugged, low-cost, low-power laptops to schoolchildren across the globe. The laptops that Tom donated were distributed to children in 31 countries as well as Boys & Girls Clubs in every New England state. In February 2009, Tom visited the West End House Boys & Girls Club in Allston, Mass., to visit with the club's members and to demonstrate the laptop's capabilities.
