As the Patriots prepare to play the Vikings, Totally Patriots brings us a recipe for fry bread tacos, a delicious Native American dish that's popular in and around Minnesota. FRY BREAD TACOS RECIPE Ingredients 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 Tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cups warm water Vegetable oil Grilled chicken, sliced Guacamole ( get the recipe here ) Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Mix well, add warm water and stir until a ball of dough begins to form. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until it becomes soft, but be careful not to over-work it. Place it in a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove dough. Pull off baseball-size pieces and then roll them out on a lightly floured surface until they're about ¼ inch thick. Poke a small hole in the middle of each piece to ensure it will fry flat. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place pieces of dough in the oil. Once golden brown on one side, flip the dough and cook the opposite side. Serve warm, topped with chicken and guacamole.
