Summer has arrived and with it comes the predictable heat and humidity. But after a freezing winter during which we were introduced to the term "polar vortex," the warm weather is welcomed. This is the time of year to get the kids out of the house for some family fun.
As the weather heats up, The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon does so as well. Training camp is a few weeks away, but The Hall has kicked off summer fun with its 31 Days of July program. Every single day this month, The Hall will feature an activity, promotion, giveaway, contest or just plain fun.
Highlights include the Ty Law Speaker Series on July 31; autograph signings with Steve Nelson, Gino Cappelletti and Joe Andruzzi; a magic show with Dave Hall, Madden football video game tournaments, a Tom Brady signed jersey giveaway, painting a Patriots logo, preseason game and VIP induction seat giveaways and much more.
"We have put together a month of activities that will touch every demographic," Hall executive director Bryan Morry said. "Our marketing coordinator, Jackie Beatrice, has worked hard to put together a program that will be fun for the whole family throughout July. With the kids out of school, we recognize the need to provide affordable family entertainment. Almost all the activities are free with your admission, which is modest to begin with, and include the interactive hall of fame and museum.
"It will be more than just football. We designed this program for families and for the hard core fan," Morry continued. "It might be a cliché to say this, but we hope there is something for everyone this month. Then as the calendar turns, we'll be into training camp and we will induct Ty Law into our Hall of Fame on August 1."
