There's no offseason for Devin McCourty, especially when it comes to giving back.
Less than a month after the conclusion of the football season, the Super Bowl champ was back in the community, hosting another Casino Night fundraiser with his twin brother Jason.
During the 2014 season, the two brought the fun event to the cities where they play, and last weekend they headed back to New Jersey for the second Casino Night there. The twins, both named 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year by their respective teams, were joined by friends from Rutgers University, including Patriots safety Duron Harmon. Family members were also on hand to show support for the fundraiser, which is part of the Tackle Sickle Cell campaign to raise awareness of and money for the fight against sickle cell disease.
Returning to New England after Casino Night, Devin also got back to work in his role as an ambassador for Play60. On Wednesday, he made a trip to Lowell High School, where he spoke to students about the importance of eating well and staying active.
