Foxborough to Hollywood: Celebrities support Patriots in playoffs

From simple celebrations to live-tweeting extravaganzas, Patriots fans everywhere did their job on social media on Saturday. There were some famous faces in the mix too, with lots of New England-born celebs and friends of the team sending out messages of support and congratulations. Here's what some of them were saying on Twitter and Instagram about the unforgettable comeback.

Maria Menounos may have been only 24 hours away from a glammed up appearance at the Golden Globes, but that didn't stop her from sporting her Pats gear on Saturday. The Medford, Mass., native documented the agony and elation of the game, and finished the day off with tributes to Tom Brady and Julian Edelman.

Maria watched with a group of friends that included funny guy Dane Cook and "Captain America" star Chris Evans, who are both from Massachusetts.

Like Maria, actor Michael Chiklis was there with us through all the highs and lows, and provided plenty of funny commentary during the game.

Meanwhile, Donnie Wahlbergtook some time out of his busy schedule to watch his hometown team and expressed his happiness with the final score.

Donnie's New Kids on the Block bandmate Joey McIntyre may live in L.A. now, but he's keeping the Patriots pride in the family. After the big win, he posted an adorable celebratory snap with his son, Griffin.

Also on the west coast, former quarterback Drew Bledsoe followed all the action and, along with the rest of the country, was very impressed with Julian Edelman's arm.

Another shout-out for No. 11 came from"Entourage" creator Doug Ellin.

Singer Ciara might be from Texas, but she declared her loyalty to Patriots Nation with a video post on Saturday.

Olympic athletes and big-time Patriots fans Aly Raisman and Marissa Castelli did their job too, adding emoticons for extra effect.

Locally, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Governor Charlie Baker sent their congrats to the team.

And so did some of the area's other pro athletes, including Shane Victorino,Charlie Davies, and New England natives Geoff Cameron and Dana White.

The Patriots-Ravens rivalry extended to the culinary world too, as top Boston chef Ming Tsai made a foodie bet with Baltimore cake guru Duff Goldman.

Of course, we can't forget TB12's biggest fans, his family (four-legged friends included). Wife Gisele Bundchen shared a cute photo of their dog Lua all ready for game day.
