In Case You Missed It: Ready for the NFL Combine

With the Combine set to begin, we recap all the free agency and draft talk from this week just in case you missed it.

The NFL offseason is in full swing. Free Agency begins in less than three weeks and we've got everything you need to know before that March 11th date. This week we highlighted the top 3 Patriots free agents and Paul Perillo answered your questions regarding potential free agents. While at the combine in Indianapolis, Perillo explains that Julius Peppers could be available to the Patriots if the Bears choose to let him go. Another player that some think may be playing in New England next year is Emmanuel Sanders. The Patriots were reportedly interested in the Steelers wide receiver last year and may once again seek him out. On Thursday, Pittsburgh General Manager Kevin Colbert had nothing but good things to say about Sanders.

Though the start of free agency may be the favorite part of the offseason for most fans, this week is all about the NFL Scouting Combine. We sent a team of our reporters to Indianapolis to bring you all the news from Lucas Oil Stadium this weekend. Before heading to Indy, we sat down with Logan Ryan and Duron Harmon to talk about their perspectives of the combine. NFL Network's Jordan Babineaux listed five players to watch this weekend and shared his expectations for Michael Sam, while former head coach Jim Fassel described the schedule for a coach at the combine. For those of you who want to take a look back in time, we put together a photo album of current Patriots players at the combine.

Be sure to keep up with our Patriots Mock Draft Tracker before the combine and throughout the months leading up to the NFL draft.

In this week's exclusive Patriots Football Weekly feature, we sat down with Tommy Kelly and also asked Jake Bequette about some of his earliest football memories. But the coolest story of the week goes to Michael Hoomanawanui. Along with Rams punter Johnny Hekker, Hooman was invited to be a guest rider with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Both Hekker and Hoomanawanui were nominated by the Navy because of their leadership, positivity, and impact in their communities.
