In Case You Missed It: The Offseason is Underway

On Saturday before the Super Bowl, we traveled to Time Square to check out the festivities and searched for other Patriots fans who made the trip to New York. Many fans around New England were happy to see the Seattle Seahawks dominate Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos en route to their franchise's first Super Bowl title. But after the final piece of confetti had touched the cold turf at MetLife Stadium, the 2014 offseason officially began. New England unfortunately fell short of their goal in 2013, but nothing would make Patriots fans happier than seeing Tom Brady hoist his fourth Lombardi Trophy this time next year. In order to do that, the work begins now in the offseason. The Seahawks showed us that defense still wins championships, so we took a look at some defensive free agents that the Patriots may target. On Monday, the NFL Draft order was made official and Daniel Jeremiah broke down the top three draft needs for all 32 teams. NFL.com's Gil Bradt also released his top 50 NFL prospects list.

This week we put a final wrap on the 2013 season and took a closer look at the lives of a few players on the team. We got to know Michael Hoomanawanui a little better and also looked back at Dane Fletcher and Ryan Wendell's best Football Memories. Later, we sat down with former Patriots' coach Dante Scarnecchia to talk about his retirement - in fact, it was so good that we had to separate it into two parts!

Although we failed to reach our ultimate goal this season, 2013 was still a great year for the New England Patriots. The team went undefeated at home in 2013 and that's largely because of our great fans. Robert Kraft believes we have the best fans in the world and for that reason, we made a special tribute to Patriots Nation. Thank you for all your support!
