]()On Sunday, Oct. 24, nearly 1,000 fans joined 2010 Patriots Hall of Fame inductee Sam 'Bam' Cunningham, former Patriot Troy Brown and Patriots Hall of Famers Andre Tippettand John Hannah for the fourth annual 'Game with the Greats' event at Gillette Stadium. More than 30 former Patriots players including Patriots Hall of Famers Steve Grogan, Steve Nelson and members of the 50th Anniversary team were in attendance to watch the Patriots face the San Diego Chargers. The evening featured live auctions, raffles, autographs, and grant presentations prior to kickoff. It also marked the beginning of the Alumni Club Charitable Foundation's grant donation program where more than $30,000 will be distributed to over 60 Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island high school football programs. All proceeds from the 'Game with the Greats' will benefit New England youth athletics. The New England Patriots Alumni Club provides an opportunity for former New England Patriots players to remain actively involved with each other, the Patriot organization and the community. Its mission is to support and fund youth high school sports programs throughout New England with an emphasis on football.
