The offseason in underway and even though there's still a long way to go before actual moves can be made once the league year begins in March, that hasn't stopped many folks from taking a look at the Patriots roster and trying to figure out what direction the team should head in order to improve.

The Boston Herald continues its five-step plan to help the Patriots return to the Super Bowl. The Athletic has a plan to restock the Patriots in 2020 as well. NESN.com looks at some possible draft targets for the Patriots come April.

The Providence Journal says Josh McDaniels' likely return maintains consistency in New England and might help the team keep Tom Brady. Speaking of free agents, Brady isn’t the only Patriot heading that way. NBC Sports Boston looks at why McDaniels is back and what it all means.
