PATRIOTS RB BENJARVUS GREEN-ELLIS

(On if the Patriots tight ends help open up running lanes because the linebackers have to say with them)
"I don't look at it like that. I don't think anybody else should because just like we put challenges on the defense and they do things to challenge us also. It's just a chess game and we just got to come out winning."

(On the effects the Giants pass rush has on him)
"We all know that they have a great pass rush in those guys and the play well against the run also so we just have to control them and try to do the best we can and come away with a 'W'."

(On if an effective run game can limit their pass rush)
"Whatever we got to do to win whether we got to throw it 100 times or throw it 50 times, punt it, kick it, I don't care what we have to do we just want to come away with a 'W'."

(On if running lanes will open up for him because the Giants are expecting a heavy passing game)
"You know they're thinking pass first? I don't know what they're thinking so I can't sit here and say that they were thinking first pass first or run first so I just know that whenever the play is called we got to execute. That's the only thing I think about because that's the only thing that matters."

(On what Kevin Faulk has meant to him over his career)
"Kevin's been here since I got here. I actually met Kevin before I got here and he's been great mentor for me and his career has just been great so I'm just happy to have someone like that [who] I can learn from, not only Kevin but all the guys that have been here that have helped me along with my career: Fred Taylor, Sammy Morris, Heath Evans, LaMont Jordan, all those guys. I've learned something different from each one of those guys and I try to store it in my memory bank and learn from the older guys."

PATRIOTS TE AARON HERNANDEZ

(On if anyone in his family growing up was not a New York Jets or Giants fan)
"My uncle is a Giants fan. I have a few Giants fans in the family. D.J. [Hernandez, Aaron's older brother] hopefully now is a Patriots fan.

(On what his brother was a fan of when they were growing up)
"I think Detroit Lions because of Barry Sanders but both of us kind of liked all teams. I was a fan of the Patriots just because the first jersey I had was [Drew] Bledsoe and his first jersey was Barry Sanders."

*(On if he's worried about distractions next week)  *
"I don't think you have to worry about distractions coming into a game like this because if you can't stay focused for the Super Bowl you probably got a problem but I heard there are a lot of distractions but I'm sure I'll be fine."

(On if his focus has been a little more intense this week)
"I would say a little more intense but you still have to approach it like it's just another game and you can't get too worked up or too excited just got to take it like a regular game and get mentally prepared and come mentally prepared and be ready to play."

PATRIOTS WR DEION BRANCH

(On his excitement to be heading back to the Super bowl)
"It's been a long time man. I'm very excited for the opportunity and very thankful, very thankful. It's an honor to be a part of this team and have the opportunity to play in this game again but I think we're all excited."

(On if he thinks back to his Super Bowl MVP performance)
"No, not really because the thing is I'm still playing and I think the hunger is there. You know each and every year everybody comes in with the same goal but for us to have the opportunity to play in this special game. This special event is a blessing but I don't think about it too much in the pass."

(On advice he can offer the young players and players without Super Bowl experience)
"Just to take it all and just try not to do anything special [or] spectacular. Just do what we've been doing all year and embrace the moment. You know this opportunity may not happen again and that's for all of us. Jus embrace this and be thankful. Go out and just do your job and we'll be OK."

(On if any former Patriots teammates from the Super Bowl teams have offered advice)
"I've spoken to all the guys. I'm always talking to Troy [Brown]. I talked to David Patten a couple days ago. I'm always talking to David Givens, Patrick Pass is here so I'm always talking to him. I've spoken to a lot of guys so once you be a part of this and you win you know that friendship last a long time. It pretty much forever so those are special guys to me as well."

(On the whole team putting in extra preparation leading up to this game)
"That's the most important thing about this game. There's so much down time. The Super Bowl should be the next week. Now we got to wait two weeks to play this game. I think that's for you all - the fans. I think right now everything is based on getting mentally prepared to play this game and the team that's mentally prepared - the more focused team is probably going to come out on top."

PATRIOTS RB DANNY WOODHEAD

(On if this is a dream as a kid to play in the Super Bowl)
"I think it definitely is. To play in this game it's something you always want to do but I think we still got to approach it like it's another game and prepare like we've always prepared. So, it's another game, it's a big game but we're excited."

(On how much he learned from the first Giants game)
"They're a great team as people have seen. They got a great defense, a great everything; offense and special teams. We just got to prepare and be ready for the game."

(On helping protect Tom Brady from the Giants pass rush)
"Like you said they got great players on their defense. You can talk about someone from each level -    D-line, linebackers, secondary and we just got to be ready for whatever may happen it the game and whatever they may throw at us."

(On if it has hit him that he's going to the Super Bowl)
"It's the Super Bowl and it's another game and we got to approach it like another game and prepare like we always have but like you said it's a big game and we're excited and we just got to make sure we get better every day and make sure we get better every play."

(On facing possible distractions during Super Bowl week)
"I don't know. I've never been through Super Bowl week but we're going to approach it like we approach every game and that's to make sure we're ready for the game."

(On if he iss worried about the distractions)
"That's not something I've really thought about. I haven't been distracted by anything as of yet so hopefully it doesn't and I don't think it will. We have a goal of winning a game and it's a business trip."

PATRIOTS WR MATTHEW SLATER

(On whether the no huddle offense helps reduce the effect of the Giants pass rush)
"It may or may not. Hopefully we can mix up some things and give them some different looks and hopefully we'll have success with that."

(On if his father, who played in the NFL, gave him any advice)
"You got to seize this opportunity and take advantage of it. You never know if that opportunity will come around again so we got to go out here and prepare and be ready to go come next Sunday."

(On the possible impact Rob Gronkowski's injury could have on this team)
"We can't really worry about that. We know Rob's going to do everything he can to come back and be ready to go come Sunday and the rest of the 52 guys on this team have to be ready and do our jobs in preparing moving forward. We know and trust that Rob's going to do everything he can to be ready."

(On the threat Rob Gronkowski has when he touches the football)
"No question. He just has that kind of talent. He's kind of a once in a lifetime talent with the skill set that he has so we love getting the ball in his hands and he loves having the ball in his hands and he does special things when he has the ball in his hands."

PATRIOTS LB ROB NINKOVICH

(On what his favorite Super Bowl moment was as a kid)
"When I was a kid I was a pretty big [Dallas] Cowboys fan. I was a huge Emmitt Smith fan when I was a kid and watching them win those Super Bowls was pretty cool so I would say that the Cowboys in the '90s was pretty awesome."

(On if he is worried about distractions during the Super Bowl week)
"I'm not worried about it. The Super Bowl's always going to have a lot more things involved then just a regular game but you just got to put that on yourself to separate yourself from all that and focus in on the job at hand."

(On facing Aaron Hernandez in practice)
"You know what? I go against Aaron and Rob [Gronkowski] every day so I would say those are the best tight ends in the league right now and with me as a defensive player going against those guys only makes me better. They give me the best look I can get."

(On the skill set and comparison of Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski)
"You can't compare them because they're two different tight ends. Aaron's obviously a corner can't cover him and [with] Rob a corner can't cover him either because he's so tall. You can put the best coverage guy on both the guys and they both have strengths that are different. With Rob he's got such length and range he can pretty much go and get anything and Aaron you know is just so explosive and quick that you just can't cover him."

(On if the distractions will be less because it is in Indianapolis, Ind.)
"I went to school right down the street so you know it's not a very big city. It's not going to be warm. I'm going to be alright and just stay inside and stick with the family and visit with my parents so it will be fun."

(On if Eli Manning is not an elite quarterback)
"I wouldn't say he's not an elite quarterback. I think he is. Every year his stats are always comparable with the best in the league so you got to give him credit with his abilities. He's' a great quarterback and can put the ball where he wants it to be and he's dangerous so you got to make sure you have real tight coverage on the receivers and get some pressure on him."
