On Monday night, the Patriots put their hospitality skills to the test.
Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and Chandler Jones were among the nearly two dozen players who came out to support Danny Amendola's second annual Celebrity Waiter Night at towne stove and spirits in Boston, Mass.
The players traded their jerseys for aprons and got to work serving diners the first of four indulgent courses prepared by Executive Chef Oscar Figueroa. They then mingled with the 200 guests in attendance, signed autographs and posed for photos.
There was also a live auction that featured exclusive Patriots gear, including three signed TB12 jerseys.
In total, the event raised more than $230,000 to benefit Danny's Catches for Kids Foundation and the work he does to support low-income children and families through initiatives like his "Catch a Book" reading rooms. Just last month, Danny launched the first two spaces to promote literacy at elementary schools in Lawrence and Mattapan, Mass. Through his foundation, he plans to create six more by the end of 2017.
