On Friday the Baltimore coach went off a bit with the media in some potentially costly comments about the injury report. He said that moving forward he'll list every last "hangnail" on his injury reports. He also brought up concerns with the wording of the league's injury report rules, as well as concerns with how it might violate federal HIPPA regulations.
Harbaugh said simply that the injury report, "doesn't mean anything. It has no value. The injury report has no value."
Harbaugh also concluded that he's just going to end up treating the injury report the same way that his coaching buddy Bill Belichick does.
"Bill figured it out way before the rest of us did. His injury report is that long. It's been that way for years," Harbaugh said, according to the Baltimore Sun. "We tried to do it the other way and be straightforward with our injury report and we got fined for it. So we're moving on."
