Sanchez limited at Jets practice; Cotchery not ruled out

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was limited at practice Wednesday due to an injured right calf that likely won't prevent him from playing in Sunday's game against Houston.

Sanchez had swelling in his right calf after being injured in the third quarter last Sunday, but coach Rex Ryan said Sanchez "did almost everything" at practice.

Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery did not practiced after sustaining a slight groin tear during the Jets' 26-20 overtime victory Sunday. Ryan said it's still too early to rule him out.

Ryan also said defensive back Dwight Lowery has a concussion and is going through the evaluation process.

Left guard Matt Slauson, who had swelling in his right knee, and safety Eric Smith (ankle), also did not practiced Wednesday.
