Stars come out to play for AFC Championship game

Last week lots of celebrities showed their love for the Patriots on social media and they were back in full force on Sunday as the team defeated the Colts in the AFC Championship game. Let's take a look at some of the tweets, photos and videos from famous faces around Patriots Nation.

Captain America, Chris Evans, is a well-documented Patriots fan (he is from Boston, after all), but his friend and fellow big-screen superhero Chris Pratt is all about the Seahawks. After the Patriots' win, the two quickly established themselves as frenemies for the next two weeks.

No social media rivalries for funny guy John Krasinski, just a simple Flying Elvis tweet.

Comedian Dane Cook went for a different kind of tribute, posting one of our favorite shots of the game and declaring TB12 and Big Vince "so adorbs."

Snoop Dogg, who is set to perform at the Super Fan Festival in Glendale, also showed his love for the Patriots quarterback.

Meanwhile, Maria Menounos made sure she did her job – which meant wearing the exact same outfit from the Patriots-Ravens playoff game.

But it was a custom jersey and jeans for actor AnnaLynne McCord.

"Will and Grace" star Debra Messing displayed her loyalty on Twitter.

As did devoted Patriots fan Michael Chiklis.

Although many stars watched from home, "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery made the trip to Gillette Stadium, surprising his dad with tickets to the game.

TV host Julie Chen was in the house too.

From near and far, Boston's other pro athletes chimed in, including David Ortiz, Shane Victorino and Pablo Sandoval from the Red Sox...

plus Revolution players Charlie Davies and Lee Nguyen...

and even former Celtic Paul Pierce.

A few local Olympians got in on the AFC Championship fun too, like Marissa Castelli, Aly Raisman and Alex Shibutani.

The UFC's Dana White repped the Patriots while at TD Garden for Fight Night.

And basketball legend Magic Johnson sent his congratulations to team owner Robert Kraft after the game.

We can't forget Boston's favorite boyband, either. New Kids on the Block celebrated the big win in enemy territory on Tuesday, sporting Patriots gear for their appearance on New York-based TV show, "Kelly and Michael."

And of course, Gisele showed her support throughout the game with tons of adorable tweets.
