Terry Rozier brings Celtics charm to Pats season opener

Everybody loves a good crossover. The only thing better than Boston sports worlds colliding is a ,W and since Pats Nation got both yesterday, one might say they bring each other good luck.

On Sunday, Celtics guard Terry Rozier and center Daniel Theis headed to Foxborough to cheer on the guys as they took on the Texans in the season opener.

Before kickoff, Terry took a trip into the tunnel where he readied himself in his best Tom Brady jersey to open the door for the team as they headed from the locker room to the field. Ahead of assuming his duties, he sent out a message to Patriots Nation that the team followed through.

The athletes that make up the city’s teams have a well-documented history of rooting each other on throughout their seasons. So it’s no surprise that they would show up for the Patriots first game of the season.

You might also remember that one time when Terry called Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe by the name of a certain former Patriots quarterback instead. That led to Patriots legend Drew Bledsoe wearing a “Scary Terry” t-shirt and then cheering the C’s on in Game 5 of the NBA playoffs against the 76ers.

Terry returning the favor was the perfect start to the season. We're here for it.
