Patriots fans, get excited. Mark Wahlberg just gave you one good reason to look forward to the off-season: the chance to see your quarterback on the big screen.
During his recent appearance on the B.S. Report with Bill Simmons, Mark revealed that TB12 makes a cameo in the upcoming "Ted 2" movie, which was filmed in Boston and is set for release next summer.
"We have an amazing performance by none other than the greatest quarterback of all time," Mark said.
Despite the fictional premise of the film, Tom's cameo isn't totally removed from reality. He plays himself, while Mark is an avid super fan who tries to be cool when he comes face-to-face with his football hero.
"I'm playing an air conditioning guy, so I'm asking him to sign the paper and I say, 'Can you sign that to me and Ted? Put number 12 there. And can you put "Eli manning sucks?" Can you put "Wes Welker is a traitor?"' We just kept playing around and playing around."
Still, Tom's foray into acting doesn't end there. He's also set to make an appearance in Mark's upcoming "Entourage" film, along with Rob Gronkowski, Stevan Ridley and Julian Edelman. Vince and his gang plus Tom and his guys? Full-on bromance. We can't wait.
