Vinatieri lifts Pats over Bills

Adam Vinatieri kicked four field goals and three extra points to single handedly beat the Bills. The game marked Bledsoe being the third player in Patriots history to hit the 16,000 yard plateau.

Bledsoe opened up with a 20 yard pass to Ben Coates in the first quarter to beat the Bills secondary.
Tedy Bruschi sacked Bills quarterback Todd Collins and injured him in the process.
The back up Billy Joe Hobert was not ready to go in and was thrown to the wolves. On Hobert's first play he threw an interception right into the lap of safety Willie Clay.
Vinatieri went on to boot four consecutive field goals and Curtis Martin ran in a 26 yard run to overwhelm the Bills. The score was 26-0 in the third quarter.
Keith Byars caught a 4 yard touchdown pass from Bledsoe and the Bills added a touchdown of their own late in the fourth quarter to make the final result 33-6.
