The Kraft family, the Patriots Foundation and Optum hosted the Veterans and Athletes Unified (VAU) Fallen Heroes Memorial at Gillette Stadium on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019. This 28-foot wide by 6-foot tall American flag symbolizes the shape of the flag when draped over a fallen service member's casket. The memorial, which features approximately 7,000 dog tags - each representing a soldier who died in service since September 11, 2011 - is a tribute to all of the servicemen and servicewomen who have lost their lives during the War on Terror. The New England Patriots Foundation, in partnership with Bass Pro Shops, the New England Patriots Alumni Club (NEPAC) and Patriots co-captain Devin McCourty, hosted "Gifts from the Gridiron," a holiday shopping spree at Bass Pro Shops at Patriot Place for 50 children from local homeless shelter programs on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019. Children ages nine to 18 were matched with a personal shopper, including current and former Patriots players, their wives or significant others and Patriots cheerleaders. Each child received a $400 gift card, compliments of the Patriots Foundation, Devin McCourty, NEPAC and Bass Pro Shops.

The New England Patriots Foundation hosted its 26th annual Children's Holiday Party on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019 at Gillette Stadium. Approximately 250 children in need from Salvation Army and community centers throughout New England enjoyed a night of food, holiday-themed games, presents and a visit from Santa Claus. The children also met and played holiday-themed games with several Patriots players, including Jamie Collins, Ted Karras, David Andrews, Terrence Brooks and others.

For the 26th consecutive year, the Patriots teamed up with Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries to provide 220 complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need at the Goodwill headquarters in Boston on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019. Robert Kraft, Patriots alumni and players, including Andre Tippett, David Andrews, Jonathan Jones and Adam Butler, among others, personally delivered the baskets.

In celebration of Thanksgiving, the Kraft family, New England Patriots Foundation and Shaw's teamed up to donate 500 Thanksgiving dinners to local families in need at Gillette Stadium on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019. Families from Our Daily Bread in Mansfield, Mass., and Wonderfund, received a grocery bag full of the essential Thanksgiving fixings, and a fresh turkey from Koch's Turkey Farms in Tamaqua, PA. Among the Patriots handing out turkeys were Joe Thuney, Ted Karras, Isaiah Wynn, Chase Winovich and others.

The Kraft family and the New England Patriots Foundation hosted 50 Vietnam veterans and 10 Gold Star families for a special ceremony at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019. Josh Kraft, Andre Tippett and Major General (Ret) Peter M. Aylward presented Vietnam veteran lapel pins to the 50 men and women, who were also thanked for their service by Patriots players David Andrews, Marcus Cannon, Danny Shelton and Terrence Brooks.
Patriots donate $250,000 to local football programs
Five high schools received grants of $50,000 from the Kraft family and the Patriots Foundation to help their football teams purchase new equipment. The donation recipients included Brighton High School in Brighton, Mass.; Central High School in Providence, R.I.; Cumberland High School in Cumberland, R.I.; English High School in Jamaica Plain, Mass., and Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsborough, Mass.

The New England Patriots Foundation helped make a young boy's wish come true when they welcomed six-year-old Parker Watson to the stadium for a few major events this week. Parker, a native of San Diego, attended the Patriots game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and got to meet and play football with several Patriots players on Monday, including Phillip Dorsett, Matthew Slater, Rex Burkhead, Deatrich Wise Jr., Chase Winovich, Danny Shelton, Joe Cardona, Kyle Van Noy and Ben Watson. On Tuesday, Parker enjoyed the Children's Halloween Party with more Patriots players.

More than 40 children battling cancer attended with their families and got to meet and interact with several players, including Marcus Cannon (Luigi), Adam Butler (Mario), Rex Burkhead (Mr. Incredible), Matt LaCosse (Scarecrow), Terrence Brooks (Prince Charming), Nate Brooks (Black Panther), Calvin Munson (Buzz Lightyear), Joe Cardona (Toy Story Alien), and Shilique Calhoun (Navy Seal).

As part of the Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer campaign, 15 cancer survivors were treated to a "Patriots Day of Pampering" at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. Patriots Chairman and CEO presented game tickets to all of the women for the Oct. 10 game against the N.Y. Giants. The women were also treated to a healthy breakfast, manicures, massages, relaxation yoga and a surprise visit to the field, where they met several players including Julian Ededlman, Matthew Slater, Devin McCourty, Jason McCourty, James White, Sony Michel, Joe Thuney, Marcus Cannon, Brandon Bolden and Duron Harmon.

In honor of National Coffee with a Cop Day (Wed. Oct. 2), Patriots players Lawrence Guy and Marcus Cannon celebrated by having coffee with law enforcement on Tuesday, Oct 1, 2019. Guy made a surprise visit to the Abington Dunkin' while Cannon brought coffee and donuts to the police station in Foxborough, Both players enjoyed a cup of Joe and a friendly conversation with police men and women.

This marks the 10th consecutive year the Patriots, UnitedHealthcare and KaBOOM! have worked together to build a playground in the New England area. Chase Winovich, Jonathan Jones and Adam Butler were among the Patriots who lent a helping hand.
