Matt Groh enters his 13th season with the Patriots and his second as Director of Player Personnel. He served two years as a national scout, six as an area scout and the 2021 season as College Scouting Director. He joined the organization in July 2011 as a scouting assistant and served in that role for two seasons. Groh was a quarterback at Princeton University, where he graduated in 2003 with a psychology degree. He later earned a law degree from the University of Virginia in 2008. A native of Hingham, Mass., Groh graduated from Chaminade High School on Long Island. Groh and his wife, Courtney, have a daughter, Emma, and a son, Ryan.
