CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

• Jones finished 31-of-42 for 231 yards for a 73.8 completion percentage vs. Miami (9/17). It was his 13th NFL game with a completion percentage of 70 percent or better.
• Connected on the second-longest touchdown pass of his career with a 58-yard touchdown pass to TE Pharaoh Brown in the second quarter at the New York Jets (9/24).
• Left the game at Dallas (10/1) and vs. New Orleans (10/8 after large deficits.

• Set a career-high in passing yards with 382 at Minnesota (11/24). Jones finished 28-of-39 (.718) for 382 yards with two touchdowns for a passer rating of 119.8. Jones had two touchdown passes of more than 30 yards, completing a 34-yard touchdown pass to WR Nelson Agholor and a 37-yard touchdown pass to TE Hunter Henry. Jones had four passes of 30 or more yards against the Vikings, the most he has had in one game, besting the three he had vs. Baltimore (9/25/22) and at Miami (1/9/22).
• Finished 22-for-36 for 195 yards and one touchdown vs. Buffalo (12/1). His touchdown pass was a 48-yard pass to DB Marcus Jones in the first quarter.
• Finished 21-for-33 for 240 yards and two touchdowns vs. Cincinnati (12/24). Completed a 48-yard pass to WR Jakobi Meyers in the fourth quarter for his fifth 40-yard touchdown pass of his career and his second 48-yard touchdown pass of the season.

2021 (17/17, 1/1)

• Finished 29-of-39 for 281 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions as a starter in his NFL debut vs. Miami (9/12).
• Followed a 74.4 completion percentage in the opener against Miami by completing 73.3 percent of his passes (22-of-30 passes) for 186 yards at N.Y. Jets (9/19). He is the first quarterback with a 70-plus completion percentage in each of his first two games (min. 10 attempts in each game).
• Helped push the pile on Damien Harris' 26-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and made a key block on a Kendrick Bourne end-around also in the third quarter.
• Threw for 270 yards on 30-51 passing and a touchdown vs. New Orleans (9/26). Rushed for 28 yards on six carries as well.
• Completed 19-straight passes during a stretch from the second quarter to the fourth quarter vs. Tampa Bay (10/3), tied for the longest streak in team history. Tom Brady had a streak of 19 consecutive passes in Week 1 of the 2015 season vs. Pittsburgh on Sept. 10, 2015. The streak of 19 consecutive completions is the most by a rookie in 30 years.
• Finished 31-of-40 passing for the night vs. the Buccaneers for a completion percentage of 77.5, his third game with a 70-plus completion percentage. He is the first NFL quarterback to record a 70-plus completion percentage in each of his first three games.
• Completed 23-of-30 passes for a 76.6 percent completion percentage at Houston (10/10). Connected on over 70 percent of his passes in four of his first five NFL games.
• Tied Joe Burrow (135 completions in 2020) for the most completions by a rookie quarterback in his first five starts in NFL history.
• Finished 15-of-21 for 229 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for a 71.4 completion percentage vs. Dallas (10/17). Completed 70 percent of his passes in five of his first six games to become the first rookie quarterback to ever accomplish the feat. Through six games, Jones completed 71.1 percent of his passes. The rookie record is 67.8 by Dak Prescott in 2016.
• Had his first 300-yard passing game after finishing 24-of-36 for 307 yards with two touchdowns vs. N.Y. Jets (10/24).
• Completed 18 passes at L.A. Chargers (10/31) and now has 192 completions through his first eight games, the third-most by any rookie through his first eight games. Threw for 218 yards on the day, including a 44-yard strike to WR Nelson Agholor in the first quarter.
• Finished 12-of-18 for 139 yards in the win at Carolina (11/7), including a 7-yard touchdown throw to TE Hunter Henry in the second quarter. With the victory, Jones improved to a 4-0 road record to start his career. He is the first rookie quarterback to win his first four road games since Dak Prescott in 2016. The most consecutive road wins to start a season by a rookie QB is six by Roethlisberger (2004) and Prescott.
• Had his first career three-touchdown performance vs. Cleveland (11/14), which also marked his fourth game in 2021 with at least two touchdowns. Jones is the first New England rookie quarterback to throw at least three touchdowns in game since Drew Bledsoe had four touchdown passes in Week 18 of the 1993 season vs. Miami on Jan. 2, 1994. Jones is the first rookie in franchise history with at least three touchdown passes and no interceptions in a single game. The record for most games with at least two touchdown passes by a rookie quarterback is Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers with 10 games in 2020.
• Completed 19-of-23 passes 198 yards for an 82.6 completion percentage vs. Cleveland (11/14). He has finished with a 70-plus completion percentage in six of his 10 games in 2021. The rookie record is nine games with a 70+ percent completion percentage by Dak Prescott in 2016. The NFL record is 13 games by Drew Brees in 2017.
• Completed 22-of-26 passes for an .846 pass completion percentage at Atlanta (11/18), which is tied for the fourth-best in team history. Jones was 19-of-23 for an .826 completion percentage vs. Cleveland on Nov. 14, the sixth-highest in team history. He has completed 70 percent of his passes in seven of his 11 games. The rookie record is nine games with a 70+ percent completion percentage by Dak Prescott in 2016. Jones is the first Patriots player with back-to-back games completing 80 percent of his passes (min. 20 attempts).
• Finished 23-of-32 for 310 yards with two touchdowns for a 71.9 completion percentage vs. Tennessee (11/28). He has completed at least 70 percent of his passes in eight of his 12 games. The rookie record is nine games with a 70+ percent completion percentage by Dak Prescott in 2016. The NFL record is 13 games by Drew Brees in 2017.
• Threw for two touchdowns to WR Kendrick Bourne vs. Tennessee (11/28). It is his fifth multi-touchdown game of the season. The record for most games with at least two touchdown passes by a rookie quarterback is Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers with 10 games in 2020.
• Had his second 300-yard game of the season after finishing with 310 yards vs. Tennessee (11/28), his highest of the season. He had 307 yards passing vs. the New York Jets on Oct. 24.
• Named Offensive Rookie of the Month for November by the National Football League. Jones is the first Patriots rookie to receive a rookie of the month honor since DL Chandler Jones in September of the 2012 season. Jones led the Patriots to a perfect record in November, completing 76-of-99 passes for 854 yards and seven touchdown passes. He completed 76.8 percent of his passes and had a quarterback rating of 117.2.
• Secured his seventh straight victory with a Monday Night Football win over Buffalo (12/6). He is the fourth rookie quarterback in the Super Bowl era to lead his team to win at least seven consecutive games. Jones has now won his first six road games, joining Dak Prescott (6 in 2016) and Ben Roethlisberger (6 in 2004) as the only rookie quarterbacks to win each of their first six road games in league annals.
• Threw for 299 yards, two touchdowns, and had a 12-yard rush, while scoring 17 unanswered points to close the gap to 20-17 after a 20- first half deficit in a 27-17 loss at Indianapolis (12/18).
• Became one of 13 rookie quarterback to reach 300 completions in a season after completing 14 passes vs. Buffalo (12/26) to push his season total to 310 pass completions
• Threw for three touchdowns vs. Jacksonville (1/2) to give him 21 touchdowns for the season, a team record for most by a Patriots rookie quarterback in team history. Jim Plunkett had 19 touchdown passes during his rookie season in 1971. He became the 15th rookie quarterback to reach 3,000 passing yards and 20 touchdown passes, the 12th rookie quarterback to lead his team to a winning record, and the 8th to lead his team to 10 or more wins during his rookie season. He also completed at least 70 percent of his passes for the ninth time to join Dak Prescott (2016 with Dallas) for the most games by a rookie quarterback with a 70 percent completion percentage. Jones completed 22- of-30 passes for 73.3 pass completion percentage.
• Threw for a touchdown at Miami (1/9), finishing his rookie campaign with 22 touchdown passes, which ranks tied for eighth-most among rookie quarterbacks, 3,801 passing yards, which ranks fifth, and a 67.6% completion percentage, second only to Dak Prescott for the highest completion percentage in a season for a rookie signal caller.
• Became the first rookie quarterback in New England history to make a start in the postseason in the Wild Card Round loss at Buffalo,(1/15), adding a 16-yard run in the first quarter, the longest run of his career. His previous best was a 13-yard run vs. the New York Jets on Oct. 24.

• Mac Jones is the highest drafted offensive player in Bill Belichick's history with New England. The previous highest offensive player drafted was Nate Solder in 2011 with the 17th pick overall.
• Jones is the fourth quarterback to be selected 15th overall in the draft since 1970. The Patriots selected QB Tony Eason with the 15th pick overall in the 1983 draft. Eason, Dwayne Haskins (2019 – Washington) and Marc Wilson (1980- Oakland) are the only quarterbacks to ever be selected in that position in the draft since 1970.
