FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced that they have signed RB Mike Gillislee (pronounced –gil-is-LEE) as a restricted free agent from the Buffalo Bills.

The 5-foot-11, 219-pounder, originally entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick (164th overall) of Miami out of Florida in the 2013 NFL Draft. Last season, he played in 15 games with one start and finished with 101 rushing attempts for 577 yards and eight touchdowns, while adding nine receptions for 50 yards with one touchdown. Overall, Gillislee has played in 23 NFL games with two starts and has 154 rushing attempts for 865 yards and 11 touchdowns and 15 receptions for 79 yards with one touchdown.
