New England Patriots players David Andrews, Deatrich Wise Jr., and Cole Strange each took part in Read Across America week last week by reading stories to school children. Andrews read at the Lafayette School in Everett, Wise read at The Patriots Hall of Fame, and Strange read at Tufts University.

Patriots Foundation Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week
From February 13 through February 17, the Patriots Foundation celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week in the New England community. On Monday, Patriots Cheerleaders and Pat Patriot brought lunch to Foxboro Police and Fire as a thanks for all they do to protect the town of Foxboro. On Tuesday, Patriots alumni Ronnie Lippett visited patients at the Brockton VA Hospital to sign autographs. On Wednesday, Patriots center David Andrews visited patients at Boston Children's Hospital. On Thursday, Patriots Cheerleaders and Pat Patriot surprised teachers at Ahern Middle School in Foxboro with a little gift bag. All teachers and staff throughout the Foxboro school system received a gift bag. To conclude the week, the Patriots and Revolution community relations departments left a gift bag on the desks of employees.

The New England Patriots announced to students at Lafayette School in Everett, Mass. on Feb. 1 that their school has been selected as the Patriots Foundation's 2023 Adopt-A-School. To kickoff the program, Patriots linebacker Terez Hall, Patriots Cheerleaders, Pat Patriot and Patriots in-game announcer Mike Riley held a school assembly to promote the importance of education and answer questions from students. On their first visit, the Patriots Foundation donated boxes of school supplies to teachers to be used in their classrooms. As part of the Adopt-A-School program, Lafayette School will receive several grants and in-kind donations to expand access to education opportunities and improve learning experiences for students.

Cole Strange, Patriots reward Providence elementary school for perfect attendance
The New England Patriots Foundation and Cole Strange returned to Young Woods Elementary to show support for the Providence school who promised to improve their attendance at the start of the 2022 school year. The students' perfect attendance efforts were rewarded with a visit from Pat Patriot, New England cheerleaders and first round draft pick Cole Strange.
