Patriots pay tribute to fallen soldiers
More than a dozen current and former Patriots players and their family members teamed up with the Massachusetts Military Heroes Foundation to pay tribute to fallen soldiers. In advance of Memorial Day weekend, the current and former Patriots helped to plant more than 37,000 American flags in Boston Common to represent the more than 37,000 brave Massachusetts service members who gave his or her life defending our country since the Revolutionary War.
Patriots serve up smoothies at Boston Children's Hospital
On May 16, Patriots players Harvey Langi, Jordan Matthews, Cordarelle Patterson, Derek Rivers, Kyle Van Noy and James White visited the Patient Entertainment Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and helped to make smoothies for children and their families. Afterwards, the players visited patients throughout the hospital to make sure that everybody received a smoothie and a Patriots gift bag.
Patriots team up with AccesSportAmerica to lead football skills clinic
Patriots players Dwayne Allen, Rex Burkhead, Patrick Chung and Lawrence Guy teamed with AccesSportAmerica and the Harvard football team to lead a football skills clinic for more than 150 high school students with disabilities. AccesSportAmerica is a nation-wide, non-profit organization that inspires higher function and fitness for children and adults living with disabilities through high-challenge sports and training.
Patriots players and cheerleader visit Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital
Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore, defensive back Jordan Richards and Patriots cheerleader Alex visited Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, Mass. on May 2. The special guests visited several patients in their rooms to offer their support and provide patients with a Patriots gift bag. Afterwards, Stephon, Jordan and Alex made their way to the therapy gym and spent time interacting with the hospital staff and patients.
