It's the season of giving, and everyone loves when a feel-good moment gets caught on camera. Among the most heart-warming viral videos are when colleges and universities surprise student athletes with full ride scholarships, and this week, Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski got in on the fun.
When Texas Tech wanted to offer walk-on Justus Parker a scholarship, they called in help from the Patriots locker room. After the incredible win over Pittsburgh, Danny sent a video from the plane to his alma mater.Â
"I appreciate and love the way you work and wear that red and black," Danny said. "My boy wants to tell you something."
Danny panned the camera over to Gronk, and he broke the news.
"Justus, what's up man? Congratulations, you're on scholarship! Hard work pays off," Gronk said.Â
The camera was on Justus as Gronk breaks the news, and, naturally, the Texas Tech team goes nuts. These videos never get old, and we're happy the Patriots could be a party of Justus's moment.Â
