Despite the most recent Super Bowl Sunday setback, Tom Brady is clearly still going strong.
Coming off his third NFL MVP and a hit documentary series, Brady’s excellence is obvious in many areas of his life.
The Boston Herald notes that amid plenty of change, Brady gives the Patriots the ultimate stability as he plays at a high level into his early 40s. The Herald also says that the pain of the Patriots loss in Minnesota tests fans’ resilience.
ESPNBoston.com looks at some interesting career parallels between Brady and Celtics legend Paul Pierce, who had his number retired in Boston earlier this week. Brady and Brandin Cooks only made honorable mention in NFL.com’s list of the best QB/WR combos. In light of the “fun” debate kick started by Johnson, NFL.com polled 20 draft prospects about which coach they’d most like to play for and you’ll never guess which future Hall of Famer topped the list. NFL.com’s Next Gen stats have free-agent-to-be Dion Lewis as the second-most-elusive back in football.
