Patriots Ticketing FAQs

Patriots Ticketing FAQs

When are tickets available to manage online and post for resale through Account Manager?

Each year, Season Ticket Members whose accounts are paid in full are able to manage their tickets online through their Account Manager on a desktop or laptop or via the Gillette Stadium App when the NFL schedule is released in the Spring.

Season Ticket Members who have completed the Seat Relocation Questionnaire are prohibited from managing their tickets until the conclusion of the Seat Relocation Period which may take place after the NFL schedule release.

We recommend that ticket holders transact on the NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster.

Can ticket holders post Preseason tickets for sale through their account?

Yes. Patriots Season Ticket Members can post their tickets for resale for all home games in their ticket package in addition to any potential Playoff game(s).

Can ticket holders post tickets for resale on SeatGeek and/ or Sports Illustrated Tickets?

Yes. As League-licensed, authorized platforms, all NFL tickets listed on the NFL Ticket Exchange, Sports Illustrated Tickets, and SeatGeek are authenticated by Ticketmaster. Ticket holders may post their tickets for resale on any of these platforms simultaneously. Should any ticket(s) be purchased on one of these platforms, any other ticket posting(s) will automatically be removed from the other platform(s).

Where can I access my ticket resale credit breakdown?

To access your resale history (including games sold and payout amount), please visit your Account Manager Page. Once you are signed in, please go to "My Profile", you will see "My Listings" on the left hand side of your screen. From there you can click "Sold" and all games sold should be listed below.

NOTE: Beginning this season, our organization will no longer have access to Patriots ticket resale records. Should you sell any ticket(s), you will receive a confirmation email. Be sure to keep this confirmation email for your records. All questions and inquiries regarding ticket resale should be directed to Ticketmaster via email at ticketexchangesupport@ticketmaster.com.

What about Massachusetts State Law and Federal Law?

Ticket holders who choose to resell their Patriots tickets on the secondary market must comply with Massachusetts State Law and Federal Law.

Per the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Internal Revenue Service changed the reporting thresholds for e-commerce sales such that Ticketmaster is required to issue 1099 forms to sellers who earn more than $600.00 annually from sales on a Ticketmaster U.S. marketplace (including Account Manager). All fans and patrons who listed tickets for sale on a Ticketmaster U.S. marketplace were notified of this requirement.

Initially, the new $600.00 threshold was scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2022; however, the IRS announced a postponement to January 1, 2023.

For sales completed on or after January 1, 2023, fans will only be eligible to receive payment through Ticketmaster if they provide their taxpayer information (or confirm that they are not subject to U.S. tax law).

All individuals who sell tickets will need to sign in to Ticketmaster's secure Seller Tax Details page using your account credentials. You will have to submit your taxpayer information - Name, Address, Phone Number, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Ticketmaster will then submit the information provided to the IRS for verification. Once verified, Ticketmaster will be able to send payment for sales on verified marketplaces.

For more information, please refer to Ticketmaster’s Frequently Asked Questions or click here for specific information regarding the Form-1099K.

All additional questions regarding the aforementioned laws and information should be directed to Ticketmaster via email at ticketexchangesupport@ticketmaster.com.

How do I access and manage my game tickets?

A mobile ticket is the safest, most convenient, and flexible way to receive and manage tickets while increasing protection against fraud. All individual game tickets can be managed when the NFL schedule is released in the Spring each year.

Tickets are accessible via the Gillette Stadium App, which is available for download on the App Store (for iPhone) and Google Play (for Android).

Mobile tickets provide:

  • Quick and easy entry to Gillette Stadium using your mobile phone.
  • The ability to manage, transfer, and sell your tickets at any time.
  • Reduced risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets.

Can I manage my tickets on my computer instead of my mobile device?

You can manage your tickets on your computer by accessing your Patriots Account Manager. Note that tickets cannot be printed; all tickets will need to be scanned on your smart phone. When accessing your Patriots Account Manager, you will have the ability to transfer tickets to others and post tickets for resale.

Can I add my ticket(s) to my mobile wallet (e.g., Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, etc.)?

Ticket holders will be able to add their ticket(s) to their phone's mobile wallet closer to the start of the season. At this time, please ensure that your device has the newest operating system and the latest version of the Gillette Stadium App downloaded.

iPhone Users: If you are getting a "Pass Disabled" or error message when adding tickets to your Apple Wallet, this is because the email associated with your iCloud ID (typically an iCloud email) and email associated with your tickets do not match. This is not a problem, but rather, a new Apple security feature. Should you experience this issue, you are still able to access your tickets directly from the Gillette Stadium App.

How does ticket resale impact Cross Insurance Club Members?

Cross Insurance Club tickets are just one element of a premium membership. Therefore, they are not eligible for individual resale. All policies detailed in the member agreement remain in effect for Club Members who do not also hold bowl seats.

Can Optum Field Lounge passes, G-P Atrium passes, and/ or Bud Light Celebration Beer Hall passes be posted for resale?

Game day hospitality passes in these spaces are a component of a contractual membership and, as such, are not authorized for individual resale. While Optum Field Lounge Members, G-P Atrium Members, and Bud Light Celebration Beer Hall Members are welcome to post their game tickets for resale, individual hospitality passes which allow entry into the aforementioned spaces are not eligible for resale.

Can Gillette Stadium parking pass(es) be posted for resale?

No. Gillette Stadium parking passes cannot be posted for resale.

Am I responsible for the actions of the buyer(s) of my ticket(s)?

You will not be held responsible for the actions of the individual(s) who purchase your ticket(s), provided you post your tickets for resale on the NFL Ticket Exchange, Sports Illustrated Tickets, and/ or SeatGeek.
