KIRKLAND, Wash. (June 7, 2005) -- Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren missed the second day of a team minicamp June 7, a day after he complained of chest discomfort.
Holmgren, who turns 57 next week, went to a hospital after experiencing the discomfort June 6. Tests disclosed nothing unusual, but doctors advised him to take two days off from work to rest.
Offensive coordinator Gil Haskell ran practice June 7. Holmgren was expected to return June 9.
"I think some coaches were a little more vocal than normal to kind of pick up the slack," quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said. "We're just happy that Mike is doing OK and being smart."
