What They're Saying: Tennessee Titans

Find out what Titans Head Coach Mike Mularkey and select players are saying about their upcoming game against the New England Patriots.

"They are a really good football team and they're really well-coached in all phases, so it will be a good challenge."
- Titans Head Coach Mike Mularkey

"It is going to be a great opportunity for this entire team,'' Mariota said after practice on Wednesday. "The New England Patriots are a very good football team, and they have been a good team for a while now. It will be a good challenge, and we are looking forward to it."
- Titans Quarterback Marcus Mariota

[wysifield-embeddedaudio|eid="397161"|type="embeddedaudio"|view_mode="full"]On looking up to Tom Brady...
"The amount of success that he's had, I'm sure, myself included, there are a lot of young guys that would definitely like to emulate what he's been able to do. I would hope that later on in my future I can do some of the things that he's been able to do."
- Titans Quarterback Marcus Mariota

On Rob Gronkowski...
"He's amazing in what he can do. The guys that have been around like that, Eric Green, I'm going back some years, but for a guy that size, to have that ability to run like he does and separate from whoever is covering him, it doesn't matter. He's a special player that only comes around every so often like that. He's one of them."
- Titans Head Coach Mike Mularkey

On the Patriots compensating for injuries without missing a beat...
"Yeah, that's been their history. That's the same with Pittsburgh. These organizations, they just find ways that they haven't done that. The running back is a good example. Everybody is talking about (LeGarrette) Blount being out and maybe that is a weakness now. It's not a weakness, we're going to take it just as a strength. If that's their idea of coming after us to attack us, then we're going to do that, but I don't think they're going to go, 'Oh, we're not going to run the ball because LeGarrette Blount's down.' They're going to do what they think they do best. However, whatever way that is, we'll find out Sunday."
