Patriots deliver cards for Jacob
The New England Patriots cheerleaders and Pat Patriots made a visit to the Maine Medical Center on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 and hand-delivered cards from Patriots employees to Jacob Thompson, a nine-year-old boy battling terminal cancer. The cheerleaders and Pat Patriots also visited with other patients at the facility.

In recognition of Foster Care Awareness Month, the New England Patriots Foundation and the New England Revolution Foundation hosted staff of six nonprofits at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft announced a commitment of $1 million in grant funding for the six foster care organizations across New England. Patriots players Ty Montgomery and Matthew Slater were also on hand to celebrate the announcement.

The New England Patriots and New England Dairy teamed up to present a $10,000 Hometown Grant to Lafayette School in Everett, MA on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. The grant will go towards enhancing the school's wellness environment through the purchase of two grab and go meal carts to increase access to school breakfast and new physical activity equipment for students. The event began with a school-wide assembly and was followed by a Fuel up to Play 60 event, during which Patriots players Marcus Jones, Cole Strange, Trent Brown, Chris Board and Calvin Munson led football-themed drills and activities for a select group of students.

In honor of Month of the Military Child, the New England Patriots Foundation hosted "Patriots Gamers" at Helix eSports on Monday, April 24. Children of service members from Joint Base Cape Cod and Naval Station Newport participated in a series of gaming tournaments with Patriots players.

To kick off the inaugural girls high school flag football season, the Patriots Foundation invited several local-area teams to Gillette Stadium for a special visit on Thursday, April 20, 2023. The athletes were surprised with brand-new Nike uniforms in the visitors locker room and enjoyed time on the field to celebrate their trailblazing efforts. They also met Hall of Famer Andre Tippett, and current Patriots players Marcus Jones and Jahlani Tavai, who offered encouraging words and advice for their upcoming season.

In honor of Month of the Military Child, the New England Patriots Foundation and Bob's Discount Furniture teamed up with the Fisher House in Boston to refurnish three apartments that house military families in need of receiving medical card. On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Patriots long snapper Joe Cardona and tight end Matt Sokol helped upgrade and decorate the apartment of the Bish Family, who has been staying in an apartment provided by the Fisher House Boston, free of charge, since January 2, while their 9-week-old, Cillian, receives care at Boston Children's Hospital. The Bish family had come from Cincinnati to Boston to treat Cillian's severe heart defect. The Bish family qualified for this care through Cillian's father's service in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Congratulations to the 2023 Patriots Foundation Boston Marathon Team! All 20 of our runners completed the Boston Marathon on April 17, 2023 and helped fundraise more than $222,000 and counting for the Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards.
Patriots Foundation Celebrates Military Children with Football For You Clinic
April is designated as the "Month of the Military Child," providing an opportunity to recognize and thank the children of our service members and veterans. Along with military cornerstone partner Cross Insurance, the New England Patriots Foundation brought "Football For You," a free football clinic for youth, to Naval Station Newport in Newport, Rhode Island. More than 130 children participated in this clinic led by current Patriots players Joe Cardona, Bill Murray, Kody Russey, Pierre Strong Jr., Andrew Stueber and Bailey Zappe, as well as Patriots alumni Pete Brock, Rick Buffington, Rick Cash and Jon Williams.

Patriots QB Mac Jones visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South - Brockton Clubhouse on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Jones spent time touring the classrooms and also played basketball and football in the gym with the kids.

Patriots QB Mac Jones, along with his girlfriend Sophie Scott, visited the League School of Greater Boston in Walpole on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in recognition of National Autism Awareness month. Mac and Sophie participated in different activities with the students throughout the school, including a cooking class, creating stepping stones, playing board games, and a skill drill on the field. The League School has been a leading educator of children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder for more than 50 years. The school serves students ages 3 to adult.

In recognition of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, the Patriots organization hosted a special ceremony for nearly 100 veterans at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Patriots and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Tippett was joined by two current Patriot players, Cole Strange and Kody Russey, who provided the veterans with hats and commemorative pins.

New England Patriots players David Andrews, Deatrich Wise Jr., and Cole Strange each took part in Read Across America week last week by reading stories to school children. Andrews read at the Lafayette School in Everett, Wise read at The Patriots Hall of Fame, and Strange read at Tufts University.
Patriots Foundation Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week
From February 13 through February 17, the Patriots Foundation celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week in the New England community. On Monday, Patriots Cheerleaders and Pat Patriot brought lunch to Foxboro Police and Fire as a thanks for all they do to protect the town of Foxboro. On Tuesday, Patriots alumni Ronnie Lippett visited patients at the Brockton VA Hospital to sign autographs. On Wednesday, Patriots center David Andrews visited patients at Boston Children's Hospital. On Thursday, Patriots Cheerleaders and Pat Patriot surprised teachers at Ahern Middle School in Foxboro with a little gift bag. All teachers and staff throughout the Foxboro school system received a gift bag. To conclude the week, the Patriots and Revolution community relations departments left a gift bag on the desks of employees.
