A.J. Brown was acquired by the New England Patriots in a trade with Philadelphia in exchange for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick on June 1, 2026 ... Originally drafted by Tennessee in the second round (51st overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft ... Acquired by Philadelphia in a trade with Tennessee in exchange for a 2022 first-round draft pick and a 2022 third-round draft pick (4/28/22).

  • Traded to Philadelphia from Tennessee in a draft day trade in exchange for a first-round pick and a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

  • Started in the team's Divisional Round game vs. Cincinnati (1/22/22), logging 5 receptions for a Titans postseason record 142 yards (28.4 avg.) and 1 touchdown. His 28.4-yard receiving average is the best in Titans postseason history in a game (min. 5 receptions) and ranks seventh in NFL postseason history in a game (min. 5 receptions).

2020 (14/12, 1/1 - Tennessee)

  • Played in 14 games with 12 starts and finished with 70 catches for 1,075 yards (15.4 avg.) and a career-high 11 touchdowns. Added 1 onside kick returned for a 42-yard touchdown.
  • Started the team's Wild Card Round game vs. Baltimore (1/10/21), posting 6 receptions for 83 yards (13.8 avg.) and 1 touchdown.
  • Named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.
  • Tied WR Drew Bennett (2004) for the team record for receiving touchdowns in a season.
  • Became the 11th player to record 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first two seasons and the fifth player since 1970 to log at least 2,000 receiving yards and 19 receiving touchdowns through two career seasons.

  • Played in all 16 games with 11 starts, accumulating 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and 8 touchdowns, adding in 3 carries for 60 yards (20.0 avg.) and 1 touchdown.
  • Started all three of the team's postseason games: the Wild Card Round at New England (1/4/20), the Divisional Round at Baltimore (1/11/20) and the AFC Championship at Kansas City (1/19/20). He produced 5 receptions for 64 yards  along with a 9-yard rush in the playoffs.
  • Finished the regular season leading all rookies in receiving yards, tied for first in receiving touchdowns and fifth in receptions. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after the season.

  • Scored his first two career touchdown receptions at Atlanta (9/29), finishing with 3 receptions for 94 yards (31.3 avg.) and 2 touchdowns. He became the first Titans rookie with two or more touchdown receptions in a game since WR Chris Sanders against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 26, 1995.
  • Started at Oakland (12/8) and produced 5 receptions for 153 yards (30.6 avg.) and 2 touchdowns. He scored his first touchdown on a career-long 91-yard touchdown to put the Titans up 14-7 in the first quarter. It was the fourth-longest touchdown reception in team history and the longest since Dick Compton had a 95-yard touchdown reception vs. Buffalo (12/5/1965).
  • Started vs. New Orleans (12/22) and recorded 1 reception for 34 yards along with a 49-yard touchdown run coming off a reverse in the first quarter.
  • Started the first postseason game of his career in the Wild Card at New England (1/4/20), logging 1 reception for 4 yards.

COLLEGE

  • Played in 26 games with 25 starts in three seasons at Ole Miss (2016-18), accumulating 189 receptions for an school record 2,984 yards (15.8 avg.) and 19 touchdowns.
  • Finished his career with the most career yards and 100-yard games (12) in Rebels history, along with the third-most receptions and fifth-most receiving touchdowns. He was also the only receiver to log at least 60 receptions in back-to-back seasons (2017-18). His 2,984 career yards are the ninth-most in the SEC since 1956.
  • Named to the AP All-America Third Team and All-SEC First  Team in 2018 after posting 85 receptions for 1,320 yards (15.5 avg.) and 6 touchdowns. He set team records with his receptions and receiving yards, leading the SEC in receiving yards and ranking second in receptions.
  • Received Third Team AP All-American honors and All-SEC First Team honors in 2017 as a sophomore after hauling in 75 receptions for 1,252 yards (16.7 avg.) and 11 touchdowns. He led the SEC in receiving yards and touchdowns, and was second in receptions.

PERSONAL

  • Was a top recruit in both football and baseball at Starkville High School (Starkville, Miss.), where he had 83 receptions for 1,371 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior and led his team to a 6A state championship in football.
  • His middle name "Juan" was misspelled on his birth certificate and was meant to read "Jauan."
  • He became the second player, after Kyler Murray, to play in both the Under Armour All-America Football Game and the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game.
  • Was drafted by the San Diego Padres as an outfielder in the 19th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He signed with the Padres, which prevented him from playing college baseball at Ole Miss. He attended extended spring training after his freshman and sophomore years at Ole Miss.
